  • Diagnose performance issues involving roofing, waterproofing, façades, cladding systems, windows, curtain walls, and below-grade assemblies.
  • Develop repair and rehabilitation solutions for aging or underperforming building envelope components.
  • Perform field testing and water infiltration investigations to determine sources of moisture-related issues.
  • Prepare technical reports, repair documents, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, ownership groups, and project stakeholders throughout all project phases.
  • Provide construction phase services, including site observations, contractor support, and quality assurance reviews.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development opportunities.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Advanced qualifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience within building envelope consulting, forensic engineering, architecture, or construction-related services.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) licence required.
  • Demonstrated experience investigating and repairing building enclosure systems.
  • Strong understanding of roofing, waterproofing, façades, cladding systems, glazing, curtain walls, and moisture management principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and client expectations simultaneously.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable conducting fieldwork, including accessing rooftops, swing stages, ladders, and elevated structures.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance technical and client-facing responsibilities.
  • Experience with historic structures, façade restoration, rope access, or public presentations would be beneficial.
Why Apply?
  • Join a highly respected consulting environment known for tackling technically complex building challenges.
  • Work on a varied mix of new construction, restoration, rehabilitation, forensic, and performance-driven projects.
  • Benefit from significant autonomy while collaborating with experienced industry specialists.
  • Gain exposure to high-profile assignments that require both investigative and design expertise.
  • Take on meaningful project leadership responsibilities with a clear pathway for continued career progression.
  • Be part of a culture that values technical excellence, professional development, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive six-figure base salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Generous paid time off and company-recognised holidays.
  • Employer-supported retirement savings programme.
