GoJet Airlines is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Technical Engineering Specialist - Structures and Interiors to join our dynamic Technical Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the structural integrity and interior reliability of our aircraft fleet. This position involves close collaboration with maintenance teams, equipment manufacturers, and regulatory agencies to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

The Technical Engineering Specialist-Structure sand Interiors reports directly tothe
Manager, Technical Engineering.
Operational control elements, when applicable, always reside with the air carrier.
The Specialist provides in-depth knowledge, skill, and experience relating primarily to aircraft Structures and Interiors as well as associated alteration and repair programs.
Conducts daily task activities to monitor, assess, and take appropriate actions neededtomaintainaircraftequipmentsafely,reliably,and economically.
Liaisesdirectlywith equipment manufacturers and service providers to develop and produce technical data and documents used in the maintenance and repair of company aircraft.
Provides after-hours engineering support for Maintenance Control during AOG situations.
Theminimumqualificationsforthisposition require:
- Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent level of experience in a mechanical or aeronautical discipline.
- Atleastthree(3) years’experienceprocessingstructuresandinteriors engineering workinapart
121aircarrier(regionalor mainline). - Musthaveverycompetentoralandwrittencommunicationskills,withtheabilityto read and write fluently in the English language.
- PossessavalidFAAAirframe&Powerplant license(preferred
-requiredifnot degreed). - Basic mathematical competencies
- Knowledge of Algebra,Geometry and Basic Trigonometrytosupportengineering analysis
- MusthaveagoodworkingknowledgeofCFRswithemphasisonparts 26, 21.
- Mustbeabletoanalyze Airworthiness Directivesandmanufacturersservice information.
- Structuresandinteriorsknowledge/experienceofCRJisdesired;willconsiderother aircraft experience
- Musthavestrongskillswith Microsoft Officeapplicationsand Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Experience using
AutoCADsoftwaretoproduceengineeringdrawings (preferred). - Musthavetheabilitytoprioritizeworkandcoordinatewithvarious groups.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Included in position but not limited to:
- Adhere to the Professional Standards as outlined in GMM1 0-1.2.
- Promotesafetyasthe numberonepriorityinbothaircraftandpersonnel.
- Provideleadershipandmandatecompliancetoensureoperationsareperformedwithin the guidelines set forth by government agencies (i.e., FAA, EPA, OSHA, etc.) and GoJetpoliciesandproceduresandapplicableaircraft manuals.
- Generateengineeringdocuments(EOs) tospecifyactionsrequiredtocomplywithADs and to accomplish service bulletins, alterations, repairs, and the manufacture of company produced parts.
- Provideengineeringsupportto Maintenance Control ,Line Maintenance,and Check Maintenance for structural and interiors issues.
- GenerateFCDsforthe accomplishmentoffleet inspections.
- Review manufacturers’service information(SB,SL,etc.)todetermineapplicabilityand impact to company fleet.
- PresentengineeringproposalstoMRB,as required.
