BBA is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to joinour growing U.S. team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams on projects in the mining, industrial,energy, renewable power, and chemical sectors.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an career engineer to build technical expertise in both civil infrastructure and structural design, while contributing to projects from concept development through detailed engineering and construction support.

With us, you’ll get the opportunity to:

• Support the civil and structural designof industrial and infrastructure projects from preliminary studies through detailed engineering
• Prepare engineering calculations,technical reports, design memoranda, and construction documentation
• Assist with the design of civil infrastructure systems including site development, drainage, utility layouts, and access infrastructure
• Support the structural design of:
  - Concrete foundations
  - Steel and reinforced concrete structures
  - Equipment support structures
  - Pipe racks, platforms, and industrial structural systems
  - Building structural components
• Assist in structural analysis and preparation of design calculations in accordance with applicable U.S.codes and standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, process, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines
• Prepare quantity take-offs, technical specifications, material requisitions, and construction packages
• Review and coordinate engineering deliverables prepared by designers and drafters
• Participate in project planning,scheduling, cost estimating, and technical coordination
• Support construction activities through site visits, field reviews, and responding to technical queries
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to technical discussions
• Contribute to engineering quality,continuous improvement, and best practices

Summary of certifications and job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus, or Structural Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation or eligibility for registration in the applicable U.S. jurisdiction
• 6+ years of relevant experience in civil and/or structural engineering
• Experience in industrial, mining,infrastructure, energy, or related sectors is considered an asset
• Familiarity with structural design codesand engineering standards applicable in North America
• Experience with engineering software suchas:
  - AutoCAD / Revit
  - Structural analysis software (SAP
  2000,ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, or similar)
  - Mathcad or equivalent engineering calculation tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Availability for occasional travel toproject sites
