POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing activities related to the facility’s environmental permits, programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Assesses compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations and acts as an advisor to internal customers.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- Participates with management personnel in establishing procedures for administering regulatory compliance programs.
- Reviews analytical data and environmental performance metrics and summarizes and interprets results.
- Prepares permit applications and modifications.
- Conducts regular environmental inspections and supports and tracks corrective actions, if necessary.
- Prepares regulatory and permit required reporting.
- Conducts environmental compliance training.
- Performs other, related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations including hazardous waste, solid waste, water and air.
- Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and technical aptitude.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint applications.
Experience in regulatory environment compliance in hazardous waste, solid waste, water and air.
Pay Range:The pay range for this position is $78,400.00 to $
* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.
