# CAD Designer Pack Square Asheville - Asheville, NC 28801## Overview Position Type Full Time## Description
** Responsibilities:
*** Employ Civil 3D, Deed Reader Pro, and other software to draw surveys, plats, topographic maps, and worksheets; and create surfaces and points.
* Utilize GIS for property research.
* Ability to research rights-of-way, easements, and deeds from the Register of Deeds and other sources.
* Draw As-builts and be able to compare to the plans.
* Determine buffers and setbacks.
* Create paperspace layouts as needed.## Qualifications

* Qualifications:
*** A minimum of 2 years Survey Drafting experience is required, or a combination of experience and education such as an Associate's degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
* Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
* Understanding and application of CAD standards
* Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with surveying terminology
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to collaborate and work on a team
