** Engineering Intern
** at our
** Carrington, ND
** durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.
* Responsible for drafting, equipment and part design, and implementation of designed components.
* Development of component dimensional drawings, updating facility layout drawings, and new component concept drawings using 2D AutoCAD software.
* Equipment documentation to improve component fabrication resource.
* Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and management personnel to successfully complete assigned projects.
* Learn good manufacturing and food safety practices.
* Other duties, as assigned
* Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Must have experience with mS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT)
* Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Successful completion of at least 6 semesters of an accredited Bachelor's Degree Program in Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering, Industrial Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other applicable engineering field.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience with 2D AutoCAD software
* Previous experience in an Engineering Internship role

* Must be able to reach above shoulders for 3+ hours per day
* Must be able to climb on and off a ladder for 3+ hours per day
* Must be able to work in a dusty environment for 3+ hours per day
