** WHEN YOU JOIN US,

YOU WILL BE:

*** Working alongside Process Engineers and HSE professionals to support plant safety and operational improvement initiatives
* Assisting with the development and maintenance of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Safe Work Instructions (SWIs)
* Creating JHAs and SWIs for new and existing equipment
* Supporting the plant's 5S continuous improvement program through audits, documentation, and improvement initiatives
* Identifying opportunities to improve workplace organization, efficiency, and safety
* Assisting with equipment labeling projects, including safety, maintenance, and process identification systems
* Supporting P& and updates to ensure plant documentation remains accurate and current
* Conducting plant walkthroughs to identify safety, process, and operational improvement opportunities
* Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support engineering and safety projects
* Collaborating with operations, maintenance, engineering, and HSE teams on various special projects
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility## OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Strong written communication skills with an interest in technical documentation
* Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experience reading or working with engineering drawings and P&IDs is an asset
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles is an asset
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively## WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL:
* Must be authorized to work in the United States
* No travel required
