Financial Transactions
- Process guest transactions, including cashing checks, exchanging currency, issuing gaming tickets, and redeeming vouchers.
- Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
- Follow security and compliance protocols for all monetary transactions.
- Answer questions about gaming payouts, promotions, and other casino services.
- Address and resolve guest concerns regarding financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Adhere to gaming regulations and internal controls for cashiering operations.
- Enroll guests into the casino’s loyalty rewards program.
- Explain program benefits, rules, and promotional offers to guests.
- Assist guests with Players Club account inquiries, including earning and redeeming points, updating account information, and printing replacement cards.
- Promote and cross-sell services, such as upcoming events and promotions.
- Distribute promotional materials and assist with event registration.
- Ensure guests are informed of ongoing and upcoming offers.
- Deliver exceptional service by creating a welcoming and positive experience for all guests.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or complaints.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Experience:
Prior experience in customer service, cashiering, or a hospitality role preferred. Experience in a casino or gaming environment is a plus. - Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in using computer systems and handling point-of-sale or casino management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Attributes:
Friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to handle cash and sensitive guest information responsibly. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Operates in a fast-paced casino setting with frequent guest interaction. May require standing for extended periods and handling repetitive tasks. Noise levels and exposure to smoke may vary depending on the casino’s environment.
This role provides a foundation for advancing to supervisory positions in the cage, marketing, or other guest services departments within the casino.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20-30 per week
