Job Summary
The Host/Cashier at Peek Nightclub is responsible for delivering a welcoming and efficient guest arrival experience while accurately managing all entry transactions. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑ins, cover charges, VIP guest lists, and reservations in a fast‑paced, high‑energy nightlife environment. The Host/Cashier ensures a smooth entry process, maintains cash handling accuracy, and collaborates with security and floor staff to create a seamless and enjoyable guest experience in alignment with Peek Nightclub’s service standards.
HowYou Will Create the Extraordinary
- Greets nightclub guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Prompt hanging of guests’ coats in order of arrival.
- Assists in identifying casino comps, hotel and VIP guests for entering the nightclub.
- Familiarizes self with hotel/casino so that accurate directions can be given to guests who inquire.
- Accepts responsibility for cash register bankroll, all cash received, charge card and complimentary receipts.
- Maintains the appropriate supplies needed for the proper performance of duties.
- Prepares multiple reports.
- Responds to telephone calls.
- Uses computerized cash register.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cashier and/or host preferred
- Previous experience with accounting or heavy math preferred
- Fluent and literate in English
- Ability to accurately handle cash
- Must be able to maintain upbeat and positive personality for extended periods of time while working
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
- Dexterity to use computerized cash register
- Ability to sit or stand for eight hours
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
- Ability to climb stairs
- Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
- Able to tolerate second‑hand smoke, noise, bright lights
