Surveillance Shift Supervisor – Graveyard

Job SummaryDirect the daily routine of Surveillance Officers and manage all administrative tasks for the department during the assigned shift. Oversee training and development of staff and provide recommendations on gaming legitimacy, money‑handling integrity, and protection of company assets.
Responsibilities- Accept responsibility for all administrative functions of the Surveillance Department during the shift.
- Administer training and development programs for staff.
- Prepare and present performance appraisals; recommend merit increases, promotions, and transfers.
- Evaluate and make expert recommendations to other department leaders on the legitimacy of gaming and money‑handling integrity.
- Evaluate existing gaming policies, procedures, and systems to make improvement recommendations.
- Create and convey quality Surveillance reports to operating managers and directors.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Strong gaming or law‑enforcement background preferred.
- Minimum of three years as a Surveillance Officer or Gaming Supervisor.
- Literate and fluent in English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
- Excellent judgment under pressure.
- Demonstrated integrity and adherence to regulatory, company, and department policies.
- Acts as a role model and presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, reach, grasp, hold, and finger dexterity.
- Ability to hear, see, and have color distinction; vision correctable to 20/20 (vision testing may be required).
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
- Mobility skills for quick and efficient movement around the property.
- For public‑contact positions, ability to work in a noisy environment; may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Non‑public contact positions may also require entry into public areas.
