We produce flagship channels ''Game Theory,'' ''Film Theory,'' ''Food Theory,'' “Style Theory,” and ''GTLive.'' Theorist has a combined subscribership of ~45M subscribers on You Tube and garners 100M+ views/month.

The Theorist team is looking for a passionate, organized, and collaborative Content Coordinator to join our team. This person will support the day-to-day management and execution of content across You Tube, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Theory Verse, with responsibilities including content packaging, video title ideation, copywriting, scheduling and publishing content, social ideation and execution, data pulling, and reviewing content for quality and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic attitude, a passion for learning, and a willingness to incorporate feedback from other team members. They should bring a “no task is too big or too small” mindset and be comfortable jumping in wherever needed to help the team succeed.

Theorist is an extremely collaborative working environment, so strong communication skills and an eagerness to contribute ideas are essential. The ideal candidate will also be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.

This is a full-time, remote-eligible position with some limited weekend work required.

• Ideate and generate high-performing video titles aligned with Theorist best practices and established channel formats.
• Participate in brainstorms and performance-driven sessions.
• Create copy for use in You Tube descriptions and social posts.
• Ensure timely delivery of thumbnails from the Thumbnail Team prior to upload.
• Manage title and thumbnail A/B testing strategy and execution.
• Upload and finalize titles, thumbnails, descriptions, credits, metadata, subtitles, and SEO elements.

• Upload and schedule all long-form content across assigned channels & platforms.
• Upload short-form content across You Tube, Tik Tok, and Instagram in collaboration with the social team.
• Optimize videos for performance, including content settings, chapters, end screens, playlist placement, ad break placement, collaborations, and merch tagging, as well as alt text and talent tagging on social platforms.
• Review videos before and after uploading to ensure all elements are accurate and functioning properly.
• Flag and coordinate the resolution of any issues identified prior to or after publishing.

• Maintain channel pages, branding, graphics, and playlists to ensure they remain current and aligned with programming priorities.

• Ensure accurate delivery of agreed-upon sponsor elements, including titles, descriptions, cards, links, tagging, and crossposting.

• Manage comments and community posts across platforms as assigned.
• Support moderation efforts in alignment with channel guidelines, flagging emerging audience issues, feedback, or sentiment trends to leadership.

• Support social strategy, ideation, and execution.
• Pull channel data and support performance analysis and reporting.

• Experience managing social media platforms, including Tik Tok, Instagram, and You Tube
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging copy across platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Extensive knowledge of You Tube and social media platforms, as well as digital trends and creators
• An analytical and curious mindset, with the ability to identify patterns, draw insights, and continuously learn from performance data
