The U.S. Navy Fleet Bands are looking for skilled flute players to join their ensembles. The application and recording. Selected candidates will be invited to a live audition on November 13, 2026, which will take place in Millington, TN. The auditions aim to assess musicians' abilities to perform a diverse range of musical styles at a professional level.
Interested candidates must win an audition with Fleet Band Activities in order to be stationed at one of the nine fleet bands. The first duty assignment will be determined while attending the Naval School of Music in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
