Job Summary
The MCP Student Event Manager, at the guidance of the Major Campus Programming Coordinator, Senior Specialist, and/or Associate Director, will assist in executing semesterly Major Campus Programming events hosted by the Office of Student Organizations & Activities. Events include: SOA Cinema Series, Bingo, Trivia, Game Watches, tabling events, and other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- This position includes various tasks relating to in-person event management and execution including event set-up, check-in of attendees, event clean-up. This position is also subject to a minimum number of shifts per semester.
- Facilitation/hosting of events, engaging with guests, discussing involvement opportunities with students, and other duties as assigned. Candidates considered should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to actively engage with students, peers, or staff at events.

Strong customer service and hospitality, engaging with guests at events, strong communication and logistical skills, effective time management
