Commercial Loan Officer

United Community Bank of West Kentucky is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to develop and manage commercial lending relationships throughout the Union, Webster, and Henderson County market.

This position is ideal for a motivated lender who values relationship banking, local decision‑making, and strong community connections.

The Commercial Loan Officer will be responsible for business development, commercial loan origination, portfolio management, and maintaining strong customer relationships within the local market. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and/or agricultural lending and a proven ability to generate new business while maintaining sound credit quality.

• Develop and maintain commercial and agricultural lending relationships
• Originate, structure, and manage commercial loan requests
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit information
• Work closely with credit administration and underwriting teams
• Manage an existing loan portfolio while generating new business opportunities
• Maintain strong knowledge of local market conditions and business trends
• Participate in community and networking events
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service and relationship management

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial lending or banking experience preferred
• Strong business development and relationship‑building skills
• Experience with commercial credit analysis and underwriting
• Knowledge of agricultural lending is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio effectively
• Strong ties to the tri‑county market preferred
