We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in our organization's financial management. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting duties, including general ledger management, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, and budgeting. You will also be tasked with preparing and analyzing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and managing the billing process.
Responsibilities- Managing the general ledger and ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports, providing insight into the company's financial status and performance.
- Managing payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Overseeing accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are paid promptly and accurately.
- Preparing financial statements, providing a clear picture of the company's financial health.
- Conducting financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Managing the budgeting process, helping to plan and forecast the company's financial future.
- Overseeing the billing process, ensuring all billing is accurate and timely.
- Collaborating with other members of the finance team and other departments to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger management, accounting, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, financial statements preparation, budgeting, financial accounting, financial analysis, and billing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A keen attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies in financial data.
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
