Job Description
As a financial advisor at Bank of America, you will provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. You will triage client leads, make referrals to business partners, meet with clients to review their financial and investment goals, build financial plans, and recommend brokerage products.
Key Responsibilities- Build financial plans that include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking solutions.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with clients’ financial goals and needs.
- Triage client requests and make referrals to internal service providers based on clients’ needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and potential product services.
- Currently holds Series7 and
66 licenses (or holds Series
63 or65 in lieu of 66 with a commitment to pass the missing series within 60 days). - Minimum of one year of experience in the investment industry with in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture strong relationships, collaborate effectively, communicate confidently, and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long‑term strategies.
- Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
- Minimum of three years of experience in financial services or sales with exceeded goals.
- Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
- Insurance licenses.
- Minimum education:
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent. - Shift: 1st shift (United States of America).
- Hours per week: 40.
- Weekly schedule:
Monday‑Friday with rotating Saturdays. - This position may involve residential mortgage loan originations and requires SAFE Act registration.
