The Wealth Strategist serves as a senior advisor partner and day-to-day owner of the client experience (prospecting + service) for One Well’s Family Office and HNW families.

About One Well

One Well serves values-aligned clients, including endowments, foundations, and families who view capital as a means to achieve meaningful impact.

We provide institutional-quality investment advisory solutions, including Outsourced CIO (OCIO) services, multi-family office solutions, and customized strategies across public and highly sought-after private market opportunities. Our work is grounded in long-term thinking, disciplined stewardship, and deep alignment with our clients’ missions and objectives.

Description

The Wealth Strategist serves as a senior advisor partner and day-to-day owner of the client experience for One Well’s high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families. This role is designed to create meaningful leverage for senior advisors by owning planning, coordination, and execution across both the prospecting and ongoing service phases of the client relationship.

The Wealth Strategist acts as a central point of contact for clients and their broader advisory ecosystem, ensuring that One Well delivers fully integrated, proactive, and responsive advice. While financial planning is the primary technical domain of this role, success is ultimately measured by advisor leverage, client satisfaction, and the firm’s ability to consistently deliver on complex client goals.

This is a senior, client-facing role suited for a professional who is comfortable taking ownership, coordinating across multiple stakeholders, and doing whatever work is required to move client outcomes forward in a UHNW and family office context.

Key Responsibilities
Advisor Leverage Across the Client Lifecycle
  • Serve as a primary partner to senior advisors, materially increasing their capacity across prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing client service.
  • Own preparation, execution, and follow-through for planning-related work so advisors can focus on judgment, relationships, and growth.
  • Step in wherever needed—analytical, organizational, or client-facing—to ensure client needs are addressed efficiently and at a high standard.
Prospecting & New Client Development
  • Support advisors during the prospecting phase by preparing tailored planning analyses, meeting materials, and client-ready presentations.
  • Participate in prospect meetings where planning insights and coordination capabilities are central to demonstrating One Well’s value.
  • Help maintain momentum with prospective clients by coordinating follow-up, addressing questions, and advancing next steps.
  • Contribute to a differentiated, planning-led prospect experience that reflects One Well’s integrated approach.
Primary Point of Contact & Ongoing Client Service
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for routine service-related needs for HNW and family office clients.
  • Coordinate across all client stakeholders, including internal teams and external advisors (tax, estate, insurance, family office partners).
  • Ensure client requests, planning initiatives, and action items are executed accurately, promptly, and with clear communication.
  • Proactively manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations to provide a seamless, high-touch client experience.
  • Escalate issues thoughtfully and appropriately while resolving the majority of routine matters independently.
Financial Planning & Analysis (Primary Domain Expertise)
  • Lead the development and ongoing management of comprehensive financial plans covering cash flow, retirement, education, insurance, liquidity, philanthropy, and related planning areas.
  • Perform advanced cash-flow modeling and scenario analysis for complex HNW and UHNW client situations.
  • Provide tax-aware planning insights, including coordination around timing strategies and charitable planning considerations.
  • Identify estate and trust planning needs and work closely with external legal and tax professionals to support implementation.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable guidance for both clients and advisors.
