Role Overview
Wellington Management's Climate Innovation Fund (CIF), part of its ~$5B Private Equity Platform, is hiring a VC Associate in Boston. CIF targets late-venture and early-growth-stage companies developing climate mitigation and adaptation solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio company management
- Financial modeling and analytical work on prospective investments
- Drafting investment memos and participating in investment committee discussions
- Attending company meetings and industry conferences
- LP reporting and database management
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or venture capital
- Undergraduate degree minimum (MBA optional)
- Superior financial modeling skills, able to build a model from scratch
- Strong analytical and research capabilities with a passion for climate
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
