This position is ideal for a banking professional who enjoys building lasting customer relationships, developing new business, and helping individuals and businesses find lending solutions that support their financial goals. As a Loan Officer, you will be an important part of growing First Service Bank’s presence in the Greenbrier market while providing the personal, community-focused service our customers expect.
What You’ll Do:- Develop, manage, and grow a quality loan portfolio while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Identify and develop new lending and deposit relationships within the Greenbrier market.
- Meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate lending solutions.
- Interview loan applicants and obtain necessary financial and credit information.
- Evaluate loan requests, financial information, collateral, credit history, and other relevant factors to determine creditworthiness.
- Structure loan requests in accordance with the Bank’s lending policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with Credit Analysts, Loan Assistants, and other team members throughout the lending process.
- Monitor existing loan relationships and proactively address changes in credit quality, documentation, or customer needs.
- Develop new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and relationship-building activities.
- Represent First Service Bank throughout the Greenbrier community and actively promote the Bank’s products and services.
- Maintain knowledge of lending regulations, Bank policies, products, and industry trends.
- Perform other lending and business development projects/tasks as assigned.
