Operations Specialist

Salary Range: $29.00 - $31.50 Hourly

Independent Financial Group (IFG) is seeking a client-focused Operations Specialist to support financial advisors with account openings, transfers, updates, and asset movement requests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. This role is based onsite at our San Diego office.

• Develop proficiency in all Operations processes and assist with daily processing to ensure service levels are consistently met.
• Adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a strong understanding of compliance practices.
• Deliver exceptional service to IFG investment professionals and their staff by addressing client account inquiries and providing training support.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with advisors, their staff, and internal departments, grounded in trust and respect.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in all phone and email interactions.
• Partner with our Pershing/BNY service team to research and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience in the financial services industry preferred.
• SIE or Series 7 license, or willingness to obtain required licensing.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
