Uniquity Bio is a clinical-stage biotechnology company committed to putting science and patients first. We exist to develop transformative new medicines for immune-mediated diseases, and we're looking for bright-minded professionals driven by a desire to advance science and make a difference for people in need. Our lead asset, solrikitug, is a highly-potent TSLP inhibitor now in Phase 2 clinical trials for asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) indications.

Position Overview

The Senior Director, FP&A owns the corporate financial model, the long-range plan, and the analytics that inform how capital is allocated across programs. The role is the principal financial partner to R&D and Clinical Operations and a primary author of the materials the board and investors rely on.

Key Responsibilities Planning and forecasting
  • Own the annual operating plan, the quarterly reforecast, and the multi-year long-range plan.
  • Maintain the integrated corporate model, including operating expense, headcount, capital, cash flow, and runway.
  • Produce the monthly budget-to-actual reporting package with variance analysis and forward-looking commentary.
Program and R&D finance
  • Build and maintain program-level cost models across each clinical asset, from study design assumptions through database lock.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations on trial budgets, CRO and vendor bid analysis, contract negotiation support, and enrollment-driven spend curves.
  • Translate protocol and timeline changes into financial impact quickly enough to inform the decision that prompted them.
Decision support and valuation
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses across development, partnering, and financing paths.
  • Build risk-adjusted NPV, IRR, and return analyses to support portfolio prioritization and business development evaluation.
  • Support competitive benchmarking, comparable company analysis, and market sizing in partnership with the commercial and corporate development functions.
Board, investor, and sponsor reporting
  • Prepare board and audit committee financial materials and the recurring investor and sponsor reporting package.
  • Support diligence and financing processes, including data room preparation and management of financial information requests.
  • Build the reporting cadence, KPI framework, and forecast discipline expected of a public company.
Systems and team
  • Own the planning system and reporting tools, including selection and implementation as the company scales.
  • Partner with Accounting to align the chart of accounts, close outputs, and accrual estimates with planning inputs.
  • Build and lead the FP&A function over time, beginning as an individual contributor with deep hands-on ownership.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Ten or more years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
  • Direct biotech or pharmaceutical experience, including clinical development cost modeling.
  • Advanced financial modeling skill, with the ability to build a model that survives audit by a sophisticated reader.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with scientific and clinical leaders who do not think in financial terms.
Preferred
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA.
  • Investment banking, equity research, or life sciences investing background.
  • Experience supporting an initial public offering or another significant financing.
  • Experience with a private equity or venture sponsor and its reporting expectations.
  • Implementation experience with a planning platform such as Adaptive, Planful, or Pigment.
Other
  • Willingness to build the analysis personally rather than delegate it.
  • Precision in assumptions paired with clarity in presentation.
  • Sound instinct for which questions the board will ask before the board asks them.
  • Steady judgment in a company where timelines and data readouts can reset the plan.

At Uniquity Bio, we believe every team member has an impact on the patients we aim to serve. We are a nimble team with a rigorous approach to drug development that…
