Candidates should possess broad-based analytical skillsand have knowledge of and/or the desire to learn the following:accountingconceptsand financial statements,large amounts of work in Excel including working with models,ability to manipulate large data sets,andsuperiorwritten and oral communication skills. The individual must be able toeffectivelyallocatetime between multiple immediate,shortand medium-termtasks, changing priorities,strictdeadlinesand provide analytical support for multiple people within management.
Responsibilities- Overall financial analysis responsibilities for the Portfolio Management group;
- Update andmaintainportfolio financial projection models to calculate and project fund level cash flows and returns;
- Maintain Portfolio investment and diversification summary for presentation to the firm’s Investment Committee;
- Monitor Fund level financial performance toidentifyand communicate opportunities and threats;
- Coordinate andassistin the completion of material for quarterly and annual investor reporting,
- Advisory Committee Meetings, webinars, and various internal reporting;
- Assistin the establishment of fund and asset level KPIs and track performance;
- Assistthe portfolio management team’s efforts toward the implementation of a firmwide data platform by validating historical and new data
- Analyze sector,strategy and partner performance;
- Analyze the financial impactof proposed capital events (sales, refinances, etc.) to the fund performance;
- Work closely with Acquisitions and Asset Management to incorporate new investments into the Funds andmonitoron-going asset level performance;
- Participate in the annual business planning andvaluationprocess;
- Coordinate with Client Services and Marketing and Accounting groups to processes and respond to investor requests;
- Utilize third party applications (Yardi, Chatham, Argus, etc.) for data collection and analysis;
- Bachelor’s degreeor work experienceinreal estateand/orfinancepreferred;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excelandfinancialmodeling;
- Core knowledge of real estate principles,financeandaccounting;
- High attention to detail, organized, and self-directed individual eager tolearn;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Entry level position, butpreviousreal estate analysis experience is a plus
$90,000 - $90,000 a year

The expected base salary for this position is $90,000. Actual salaries may vary based on a number of factors, including skills, experience, and qualifications.
