Role Overview
Wilton House 4 (WH4), a family office focused on corporate carve‑outs, underperforming businesses, and special situations in the lower middle market, is hiring Portfolio Company Vice Presidents to be placed directly into newly acquired portfolio companies with hands‑on operating responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Take control of cash from day one, including building and managing a 13‑week cash flow forecast
- Drive working capital improvement: accelerate AR collections, manage payables, keep suppliers aligned
- Implement pricing corrections and execute cost reductions across headcount, facilities, and contracts
- Build reliable P&L and cash reporting, often on limited systems with incomplete data
- Stabilize and lead management teams through ownership transition and operational change
- 2+ years in restructuring, turnaround, or performance improvement (e.g. Alvarez & Marsal, Alix Partners, FTI), distressed credit, or PE portfolio operations
- Hands‑on 13‑week cash flow modeling experience in distressed situations
- Comfortable with significant autonomy and accountability; willing to travel internationally
Base salary plus meaningful equity participation in the portfolio companies operated, with vesting tied to time and performance — the firm is explicit that the financial upside comes primarily from ownership rather than cash compensation.
