Senior Financial analyst

This is a contract-to-hire position for a Senior Financial Analyst based in the Woodbridge, Virginia area, with an expected duration of 3+ months. The role requires full-time, on-site presence at one of four branch locations:
Yorktown, Williamsburg, Carrolton, or Coliseum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultative financial advisory services to members across lending, mortgage, home equity/HELOC, and investment products
• Generate referrals and drive business growth through consultative selling approaches
• Provide guidance on deposits, IRAs, and digital banking solutions
• Support members with account types, asset allocation, and retirement planning needs

Qualifications

• Required
  • 5+ years of experience in financial institutions, ideally in a Financial Services Representative (FSR), Senior FSR, or similar consultative/member advisory role
  • Proven success in consultative selling and generating referrals
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage, HELOC, consumer lending, and deposits
  • Strong knowledge of IRAs and digital banking
  • Solid understanding of underwriting concepts
  • Availability to work on-site full-time at assigned branch location
• Preferred
  • Working knowledge of investments and financial planning
  • Knowledge of account types and asset allocation strategies
  • Familiarity with applicable financial regulations
