The company is seeking a Data Analyst to support retail anti-money laundering and transaction monitoring operations. This role will analyze data across multiple systems, support regulatory risk and controls activities, coordinate project deliverables, and contribute to process improvements. Training will be provided on transaction monitoring processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Support a centralized team by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Assist with project planning, meeting coordination, project requests, deliverable schedules, and stakeholder communications.
- Review and analyze data across multiple systems to support enhanced due diligence
, transaction monitoring
, fraud investigations
, validations, and controls testing. - Maintain operational and regulatory compliance while consistently meeting established performance and quality metrics.
- Identify opportunities to use artificial intelligence to improve operational quality, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while supporting issue resolution with guidance from senior team members.
- Assist with developing standard operating procedures
, training materials, and process documentation. - Review reports and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders while maintaining a professional and respectful work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, information systems, or a related field.
- Experience in financial services
, retail banking
, data validation
, controls testing
, project management
, or a related operational environment. - Intermediate proficiency with MS

. - Ability to analyze information and reports generated from databases and business software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly through written narratives and diagrams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a target-driven environment.
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with anti-money laundering or transaction monitoring processes.
- Experience supporting regulatory risk, compliance, fraud investigations, or financial crime operations.
- Experience identifying opportunities for process improvement or artificial intelligence use cases.
