The Banking Operations Specialist is a hands‑on operations position responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day operational functions of Bank
19 and helping ensure that banking transactions, systems, processes, and customer activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.

This position supports a broad range of community banking functions, including deposit operations, electronic payments, loan servicing, core system maintenance, account administration, reconciliations, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate will bring practical banking experience, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.

As a result, this role is well suited for an individual who is comfortable with change, willing to learn new systems, and interested in helping improve how work is performed. The successful candidate will have opportunities to assist with process development, system implementation, procedure documentation, new product rollout, and other operational projects as the Bank continues to evolve.

While the primary focus of this position is bank operations, the Banking Operations Specialist should also have a working knowledge of community bank branch operations and be willing to assist with customer‑facing and branch activities when needed.

• Support daily Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Payment Operations, and other core banking activities.
• Perform account maintenance, transaction processing, payment processing, rate and term changes, recurring payments, and other routine operational functions.
• Assist with ACH processing, wire transfers, debit card administration, electronic banking, and other payment‑related services.
• Review daily operational reports and exception items and assist with identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies.
• Support deposit account servicing, including account maintenance, ownership changes, electronic statements, stop payments, returned items, overdraft‑related activity, and other servicing functions.
• Assist with loan servicing activities, including loan boarding, payment processing, account maintenance, collateral tracking, participation payments, and related system updates.
• Assist with daily and monthly reconciliations involving operational accounts, settlement accounts, general ledger accounts, clearing accounts, and other assigned accounts.
• Support Accounts Payable and other operational accounting functions as assigned.
• Assist with debit card issuance, maintenance, disputes, fraud‑related issues, and customer inquiries.
• Support ACH and wire processes in accordance with established procedures, approval authorities, NACHA Rules, and internal controls.
• Assist with customer account monitoring and operational reviews designed to identify unusual activity, system errors, incomplete documentation, or potential operational risk.
