Responsibilities

This role is central to our lending process — ensuring loans move from commitment to closing quickly, accurately, and professionally.

• Manage loan files from commitment through closing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, title companies, and lenders throughout the closing process.
• Work directly with borrowers to gather and verify all lender requirements in a timely manner, including title, insurance, entity documents, bank statements, tax returns, etc.
• Order and track appraisals
• Communicate underwriting conditions clearly with borrowers
• Coordinate closings with title and lender closing departments
• Track key milestones and proactively manage closing timelines to ensure smooth, on-time settlements.
• Identify and resolve potential issues before closing; make informed decisions to keep deals on track.
• Uphold SPG Capital’s high standards for responsiveness, accuracy, and execution in every transaction.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience in lending, title, or real estate transactions preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) lending preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple active deals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and the capability of learning new systems quickly.
