Alternative Credit, Residential Credit - Vice President

Role Overview

Blue Owl Capital (NYSE: OWL), a leading alternative asset manager with over $319 billion in assets under management (as of June 30, 2026), is hiring a Vice President for its Alternative Credit team, focused on Residential Credit within the firm's broader Asset-Based Finance strategy. Blue Owl invests across three multi-strategy platforms:
Credit, Real Assets, and GP Strategic Capital.

• Underwrite new investment opportunities, coordinate deal execution, and support asset management of existing transactions
• Manage a deal team of 1-2 junior investment professionals to complete due diligence, create investment committee deliverables (memos, models, supplemental analysis), and oversee transaction closing
• Support legal documentation and closing processes
• Develop and communicate views on prospective investments and how macro trends impact new opportunities and the existing portfolio
• Assist in managing existing investments, including post-closing tasks such as incremental financings and amendments
• Collaborate with internal deal sponsors, counter parties, financing counter parties, and outside counsel

• Bachelor's degree with an outstanding academic record in a quantitative, finance, economics, engineering, or related field; advanced degree or CFA is a plus
• 6-8 years of relevant residential credit / structured credit investing experience

Based in New York, NY. This role is in-office Monday through Thursday.
