ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audits Human Resource transactions into the payroll system.
- Oversees the maintenance of the time clocks.
- Prepares on-demand checks for payroll adjustments.
- Responsible for verifying that the proper PTO records are entered into the payroll system.
- Updates the payroll system for miscellaneous employee deductions andadjustments.
- Responsible for transmitting the payroll information.
- Ensuresupporting documentation is provided as required.
- Maintains awareness for discrepancies or suspicious circumstances and investigates as required.
- Follows up as required, to include related correspondence within established guidelines.
- Outstanding example of and a credit to Downstream Casino Resort.
- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manage rand Director of Finance.
- Assistin other projects, as directed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
- Must be at least 18 years old or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to twoyears'previous experience in payrollrequired.
- Exceptional organizational skills and math ability required.
- Ability to use 10 key adding machine and personal computer experience including 1-2 years
Microsoft Word & Excel required. - Read, write, speak, and understand English required.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and taxes preferred.
- Time clock system experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public,employees,and customers.
- Must be able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

- Must be able to work nights,weekends,and holidays.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, noisy casino environment and effectively deal with guests,management,and employees in all situations.
- Must be able to be approved for andmaintaina valid
Quapaw Tribal Gaming Authoritylicense. - Must be able to read, write,speak,and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome ofa background investigation and drug screening.
