Commercial Lending Assistant (College Station)

The First National Bank of Central Texas (FNBCT) is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Lending Assistant to support our lending and loan operations teams in the College Station market. This role assists lenders throughout the loan process, from application and documentation through closing and funding. TRID and loan operations experience are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify commercial, consumer, and mortgage loan documentation.
• Review loan applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with customers to gather required information and provide updates.
• Support loan officers with document preparation, closings, booking, and funding activities.
• Assist with loan disclosures, file maintenance, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, and customers to support timely closings.
• Maintain adherence to bank policies, procedures, and applicable lending regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Banking or commercial lending experience preferred
• TRID, consumer real estate lending, or loan closing experience is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
