Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting projects, processes, and initiatives within the Tax department. The intern will gain exposure to corporate tax functions, financial processes, and business operations while assisting with day-to-day activities and special projects that support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a foundational understanding of tax principles, regulations, and business processes
  • Support tax-related projects, compliance activities, and departmental initiatives as assigned
  • Assist with gathering, organizing, validating, and analyzing financial and operational information
  • Create, review, and maintain spreadsheets, reports, work papers, and other documentation related to tax activities
  • Collaborate with tax team members and business partners to support ongoing projects and operational needs
  • Participate in research, data analysis, and problem-solving efforts related to tax and business matters
  • Support process improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Assist with preparing information and documentation needed to support tax filings, audits, and other departmental requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Sophomore standing (or equivalent) required; junior standing strongly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience required
