Program Description We are considering candidates interested in joining the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Credit team based in New York, NY as part of TD Securities' 2027 Full-Time Analyst Program. The Analyst Training Program, which begins in early July, provides a five-week introduction and orientation to the firm and its capabilities. The curriculum includes coursework in accounting, communication skills, debt and equity capital markets, Excel, financial analysis, modeling, and valuation.
Role OverviewTD Securities is one of the most active North American dealers in Debt and Equity products. CIB Credit is our team of in-house credit assessment professionals. Our credit team is involved in the lending business and responsible for the structuring, analysis, risk assessment and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Be involved with the structuring of new credit transactions, preparation of client presentations and credit applications, providing support related to client development, and supporting transaction execution
- Prepare and recommend credit submissions including new business, annual and interim client reviews
- Conduct appropriate market, industry, and client research and risk analysis
- Build and update dynamic financial models and forecasts, including determining relevant valuation multiples and loan repayment capacity
- Develop and maintain solid and effective working relationships with clients, internal and external business partners, and stakeholders
Earn a Bachelor's Degree no later than June 2026 Authorized to work in the U.S No prior experience in finance is required, but a keen interest in corporate lending is requested Results driven, proven academic excellence and strong interpersonal skills. High ethical and professional standards Strong financial/analytical skills, knowledge of MS Excel preferred Proactive and highly motivated Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently Demonstrated leadership (i.e., sports, clubs, extracurricular activities, and philanthropy, etc.)
