SUMMARYThe Treasury Support Specialist III focuses on quality control for daily tasks completed by Treasury Support Specialists I and II, as well as overseeing departmental reporting. This position also assists with project management and supports staff by resolving escalated issues and conducting in-depth research.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinates team training, manages work queues, and identifies additional training needs.
- Prepares and reports departmental statistics.
- Assists with day-to-day processing as needed.
- Ensures departmental procedures are accurate, up-to-date, reviewed annually, and maintained as necessary.
- Resolves escalated and complex non-routine issues with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with regulations and audit standards.
- Communicates with bank personnel and/or customers as needed to resolve issues.
- Participates in partner calls to provide product solutions that meet customer needs.
- Participates in meetings and training seminars to stay current on regulatory and procedural changes.
- Supports the development and implementation of new products, processes, and procedures.
- Multitasks across multiple systems while effectively prioritizing incoming requests.
- Assists with the implementation and conversion of new software, including testing upgrades and releases.
- Provides input to management for quality reviews of staff work, training documentation, and ongoing quality monitoring.
- Serves in a leadership capacity by providing individual and group training and facilitating team meetings.
- Takes an active role in Treasury Solutions projects as a Subject-Matter Expert (SME).
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports adherence to all internal policies, procedures, training, and practices to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, particularly those related to job-specific duties.

- Demonstrated experience delivering an exemplary level of customer service in a professional environment.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Proven ability to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Strong computer and technical skills, including advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively as both a team member and team leader, and to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving abilities, financial acumen, and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated team-oriented mindset that supports the success of First Interstate Bank’s strategic initiatives.
- Serves as the Subject-Matter Expert (SME) for the department.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Associate's Degree in Business or related field preferred 4-6 years related experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Experience in a customer service role preferred
