Job DescriptionLead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
Oversee accounting, payroll, revenue cycle, and financial compliance
Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and organizational risk
Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and the Board
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare regulatory requirements
Lead annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors
Strengthening internal controls, financial systems, and operational efficiencies
Support growth initiatives, including expansion and service line development
Analyze financial data to drive informed decision-making
Knowledge of state and federal laws, as pertaining to HHS/HRSA-BPHC regulations and policies.
Operations, third party billing, contracting, collections, and cost-reporting (Medicaid & Medicare).
Knowledge of the structure and operations of federally qualified health centers (FQHC’s)
Qualifications, Skills,Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required
Certification as Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive management and accounting experience.
Healthcare experience required (FQHC or nonprofit healthcare strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills
Experience working with executive teams and Boards of Directors
Preferred:Accounting, or related field required
Certification as Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive management and accounting experience.
