Work Schedule

40 hours weekly, with operational hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the possibility of a modified schedule in the summer, based on business needs. This is a full-time exempt position providing services in-person, primarily for other College departments.

Piedmont Virginia Community College ( PVCC ) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia – principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Purpose:

Reporting to the Director of Financial Services, this position performs financial reporting and analysis for major College funds (Education & General, Workforce Development) and supports financial accounting for the Piedmont Virginia Community College Educational Foundation, a 501 © (3) foundation with more than $30 million in assets. The position works within the Business Office and with multiple systems to extract data and provide reports and analysis for monitoring and decision-making.

This includes validating data from the Peoplesoft Accounting Financial module of AIS /General ledger, Financial Edge within the Foundation’s accounting system, working with Human Resources and the Cardinal system for payroll data, and with the Student Information System ( SIS ).
