** Role overview
** Citi is seeking a Vice President to join the Citi Impact Fund team in a portfolio management role. The $500 million Citi Impact Fund was launched in 2020 to make direct equity investments in double-bottom line U.S.
-based start-ups applying technology to social challenges, across climate resilience, financial resilience, social infrastructure and future of work. The role is based in Charlotte, NC, with frequent travel to New York, and works alongside the investment team and cross-functional partners in Operations and Finance.
** Key responsibilities**- Manage a portfolio of investments, monitoring company performance, tracking financial and impact results, and preparing internal quarterly portfolio reviews
- Support follow-on investment opportunities, including diligence, approvals, execution and structuring
- Support quarterly portfolio review processes for both the direct and fund (LP) investment portfolios, including deck creation, metrics and performance analysis
- Support the Fund's impact measurement and management processes and the annual impact report
- Support value creation and post-investment support for portfolio companies and founders
- Lead internal partner engagement on governance and operational items over the life cycle of an investment
- Manage portfolio analysis and data projects for Citi risk and control functions and regulatory requirements
** Qualifications**- 2+ years of private equity / venture capital investing and/or portfolio management experience; 4-5+ years total in a relevant role
- Strong preference for investing or portfolio management experience in at least one of the Fund's verticals; impact investing experience or interest strongly preferred
- Strong finance and investment acumen, valuation analysis and written portfolio reporting skills
- Bachelor's degree required
** Compensation:** $107,120 - $160,680 base salary for the primary location (Charlotte, NC), plus eligible discretionary incentive and retention awards.
