Service New and Existing Commercial Customers in Accordance and Compliance with Bank Regulation and Loan Policy

  • Interviews potential new clients, gathers required information to establish credit worthiness and negotiates terms, covenants and pricing within established guidelines
  • Approves or denies credit requests within individual lending authority or refers and presents to the loan committee
  • Makes regular calls on existing and potential new clients to retain or increase business relationships
  • Monitors loan relationships by reviewing incoming financial information and updating file comments
  • Responsible for growing the loan portfolio
  • Makes appropriate collection efforts of delinquent loans in a timely manner
  • Negotiates extensions and modifications of loans and arranges pay schedules
  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of the bank’s loan policy
  • Understands and maintains knowledge of bank regulation
  • Counsels customers, as appropriate, on business and financial matters
  • Make suggestions or provide customers with an appropriate mix of deposit and ancillary bank products

Develop and Grow the Bank’s Book of Business by Drawing on a Network of Personal and Business Contacts, Business Experience, and Knowledge of the Bank’s Products and Services

  • Participate in organizations that improve the quality of life in the communities we serve
Provide Support to Other Employees as Necessary
  • Open and close bank as scheduled, following security guidelines and ensuring employees are prepared for customers
Perform Other Job-related Duties or Special Projects as Assigned
Education & Experience

Education
:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred
  • Minimum two years post-high school degree or equivalent certification
Minimum Experience
  • A minimum of five years of commercial lending experience is required with ten or more years of commercial lending experience preferred

Salary Range
: $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending upon experience
