We’re looking for an experienced tax professional who enjoys solving complex tax issues, building relationships with clients, and being part of a collaborative team where your expertise is valued.

• Prepare and review complex individual (Form 1040), partnership (Form 1065), and S corporation (Form 1120-S) tax returns
• Prepare corporate tax returns (Form 1120) as needed
• Prepare Form 5500 filings for retirement plans
• Perform year-round tax planning for individuals and businesses
• Research complex tax issues and develop practical client solutions
• Meet directly with clients to discuss tax strategies and planning opportunities
• Assist with IRS and state tax notices and correspondence
• Collaborate closely with our financial advisors to provide integrated tax and financial planning
• Mentor junior staff and assist with technical training as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and client experience

Required

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience preparing:
• Individual tax returns
• Business tax returns (Partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations)
• Form 5500 filings
• Extensive tax planning experience
• Advanced knowledge of federal income tax law
• Experience with Pro Series Tax Software
• Experience with Intuit products and workflow tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

Preferred

• Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA designation (Highly preferred)
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals
• Experience with retirement plan taxation
• Familiarity with Quick Books and other Intuit applications
• Experience mentoring staff or reviewing returns
