* Essential Job Functions:

*** Loan Officer Support:  + Prepares loan packages by collecting necessary documentation and information from customers.  + Reviews loan files for completeness and accuracy.  + Follows up on missing documents and addresses any conditions.  + Opens escrow accounts, coordinates inspections and appraisals, and determines insurance needs.  + Pre-qualifies customers using automated underwriting systems (AUS).  + Collaborates with processors and escrow officers to facilitate loan closings.
* Customer Service:  + Answers general customer inquiries regarding policies and procedures.  + Communicates with customers, real estate agents, and title companies to keep them informed about loan progress.  + Coordinates and schedules loan closings.
* General Support:  + Maintains Loan Officer databases.  + Assists with marketing campaigns, including email and direct mail.  + Stays updated on market trends and product knowledge.  + Performs various administrative tasks, such as faxing, emailing, and making phone calls.
* Special projects as needed.

*** 1+ years of related experience.

* Demonstrated experience researching information, problem solving and making solid business decisions.
* 1+ years mortgage lending or related sales experience.
* Demonstrated experience in retail loan origination.
* Demonstrated experience using Encompass

** Required Knowledge and

Skills:

*** Solid knowledge and understanding of current business acumen.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending processes, procedures and regulations.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of Encompass.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of a variety of loan programs including Conventional, FHA, USDA, VA and secondary marketing guidelines to manage complex loan level issues.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage-related terms, such as escrow, taxes, closing documents and insurance.
** Minimum Education Preferred:
*** High School or GED
* NMLS licensed, not required but preferred.
** Physical Environment:
*** This is a hybrid position that offers remote flexibility and will also require some in office time. Access to a quiet space at home and reliable internet is required.
** Travel:
