Loan Officer

Guide borrowers through the loan process and answer questions about their application. Loan Officers are often the only human voice a borrower hears during their application — we're looking for someone patient and clear-spoken who can turn a confusing process into a straightforward one.

• Walk applicants through the process from application to funding
• Explain rates, terms, and eligibility clearly, without jargon
• Review applications alongside underwriting criteria and flag anything that needs a closer look
• Answer borrower questions by phone and email throughout their application
• Keep accurate, up-to-date notes on each applicant's file

• Experience in lending, banking, or another customer-facing financial role
• Strong communication skills, especially explaining complex terms in plain language
• Comfort reviewing financial documents and applying underwriting guidelines
• A calm, patient approach with people who may be anxious about their finances

• Room to grow into senior underwriting or team lead roles
