Job Description ## The opportunityIXO is seeking senior finance practitioners who can identify where an apparently credible AI analysis fails professional review. You will help define the behaviors a finance model must demonstrate and create evidence-rich evaluations of those behaviors.## Design, review and calibrate

Work begins with a consequential finance problem rather than a generic knowledge question.
* Review tasks and model responses for missing behaviors, flawed assumptions, weak analysis and unsupported recommendations.
* Develop realistic problems, benchmark datasets and domain tools that expose those weaknesses in a repeatable way.
* Produce instruction specifications and reference solutions that explain the financial reasoning, required evidence and acceptable alternative approaches.
* Establish explicit scoring criteria and calibrate judgments with researchers so similar errors receive consistent treatment.
* Document where ambiguity is genuine, which facts would resolve it and when a confident conclusion is unjustified.

Assignments can draw on corporate finance/FP&A, investment banking/M&A, asset or wealth management, private equity or credit, quantitative finance/risk, treasury, accounting and audit. Depth in a relevant specialty is required; the role does not assume every practitioner covers the entire finance profession.## Required professional background

You need at least five years of substantive finance work at an established bank, asset manager, private-equity or credit fund, Big Four firm, corporation or regulator. Peripheral exposure in a generalist role is insufficient.

You must have held senior decision responsibility, such as VP, director, principal, managing director, portfolio manager, controller or CFO-level ownership. Professional use of large language models and the ability to write precise explanations are required. Describe decisions and work products you personally owned, not only the teams with which you worked.

An MBA, MS or PhD from a strong program in finance, economics, accounting or a quantitative subject and/or CFA, CPA, FRM or actuarial credentials are strongly preferred. They do not replace direct finance responsibility.## Engagement and payThis is remote IXO expert work for US-based contributors at $105/hr USD. A planning assumption of 40 hours per week over an initial six months may apply;

actual schedule, scope, duration and agreed rate will be confirmed before starting. Selection does not guarantee an assignment to every applicant.
