ROLE
  • – Develop and maintain current programmatic budgets; coordinate with Accounting on budget-to-actual reporting.
  • – Coordinate with other departments as part of the organizational budgeting and planning process.
  • – Draft incoming funder proposal budgets with Philanthropic Partnerships and Program teams; organize budget meetings; respond to funder questions regarding submitted budgets.
  • – Contribute to cost recovery analyses and projections with the Finance team; maintain reports related to pricing and cost recovery.
  • – Monitor interest income accrued on funding sources and provide recommendations on usage.
  • – Review and analyze monthly funding tables, including prospective and committed funding; coordinate with Philanthropic Partnerships as needed.
  • – Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and analytical support as needed.
  • – Reconcile and update funding sources.
  • – Provide other grants and contracts‑related assistance as needed in coordination with the grants team.
  • – Provide additional support to the Finance team as required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • – Four‑year college degree with coursework in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • – At least seven years of professional experience, including financial planning, modeling, and analysis.
  • – Highly responsible and responsive with a positive attitude.
  • – Collaborative team player across the organization.
  • – Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
  • – Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • – Ability to work with existing systems and resources while striving toward improvement.
  • – Understanding of basic nonprofit accounting.
  • – Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel; high proficiency with Windows products such as Word and Outlook.
  • – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
