ABOUT YOU

As a Director of Treasury & Financial Services, you are a strategic and collaborative financial leader who excels at connecting complex financial decisions to broader organizational priorities. You combine executive presence with analytical rigor, using sound judgment, business acumen, and a hands‑on approach to navigate complex challenges, evaluate opportunities, and guide decisions that strengthen the Authority's long‑term financial position. You are comfortable engaging with senior leadership, Board members, external partners, and cross‑functional teams, building trusted relationships and translating sophisticated financial concepts into clear, actionable insights.

You thrive in dynamic, asset‑intensive environments where long‑term planning, financial stewardship, risk management, and operational realities intersect, and you are motivated by the opportunity to support critical infrastructure investments, enhance organizational resilience, and create lasting value for the communities the Authority serves.

What you will do:
  • Shape the Authority's long-term financial strategy by connecting liquidity, capital funding, debt capacity, grants, rates and charges, energy costs, and affordability into an integrated framework that supports sustainable growth, infrastructure investment, and financial resiliency.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Financial Officer and executive leadership team, providing strategic insight and recommendations on complex financial matters with significant operational, customer, credit, regulatory, and reputational implications.
  • Lead the financial planning and execution behind major capital investments and funding initiatives, balancing competing priorities while ensuring the Authority maintains strong liquidity, credit strength, prudent risk management practices, and long‑term financial sustainability.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Board members, financial institutions, rating agencies, investors, regulators, advisors, and cross‑functional stakeholders to advance strategic objectives, support informed decision‑making, and ensure effective governance.
  • Develop and lead a high‑performing team while fostering a culture of financial stewardship, accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and analytical excellence in support of the Authority's mission and future investment priorities.
