We are seeking a Vice-President, Property Tax to

** Role & Responsibilities:
*** Responsible for creating and effecting property tax strategies across core real estate sectors with an emphasis on driving best in class property tax performance by improving bottom-line profitability
* Lead a geographically dispersed property tax team focused on performance and team development
* Manage the property tax appeal process and the property compliance process including budgeting for covered assets without proportional cost growth
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Asset Management and Investments to support platform decision making
* Continual assessment of scope of assets with an emphasis on growth using AI enabled and developed strategies

Qualifications:

*** Undergraduate/Graduate degree in accounting, finance or related field
* Experience in all aspects of team management and personnel growth
* Technical background in ad valorem taxation of real and personal property tax and property tax accounting
* Property tax appeals experience - direct representation before multiple jurisdictions in multiple states, for multiple property classes as well as external advisor selection and management
* Demonstrated flexibility related to changing priorities
* Excellent communication skills
* Curiosity about technological innovations in property tax space
* Advanced knowledge of property tax advisors and databases
