Job DescriptionUnder the authority of the chief of post and with the support of the deputy in charge of public tranquility, police, veteran, and civil security, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring vigilance and prevention in matters of maintaining public order, tranquility, security, and cleanliness in accordance with the law of April 6, 1999, relative to municipal police and its implementing decrees (administrative police missions and judicial police missions);
- Performing administrative research, noting and recording infractions.
- Drafting minutes including electronic means, police reports, and detailed reports;
- Regulating road traffic, ensuring compliance with the Road Code and parking regulations;
- Enforcing and monitoring compliance with the mayor's police orders and legislation (Urban Code, Environmental Code, etc.);
- Organizing and leading educational sessions on road safety for CM2 students;
- Combating the straying of animals: capturing dogs and cats;
- Providing a proximity service with the population;
- Ensuring reception and relations with the public, informing and directing them to the competent actors during police office hours;
- Ensuring the delivery of parcels;
- Collecting information and reporting in writing on activities to the hierarchy;
- Taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety of property and persons;
- Collaborating in the security of events and ceremonies organized in the municipality and ensuring their smooth running;
- Working in collaboration with the various services of the city and with the state security forces.
• Holder of the municipal police guard-brigadier competition with completed FIA;
• Knowledge of the regulations relating to the powers of police of the Mayor;
• Knowledge of the road code (traffic, parking, etc.);
• Mastery of administrative procedures;
• Relationship skills.

Additional Information• Full-time (36.25 hours/week);
• Service organized from Monday to Friday or from Tuesday to Saturday according to an alternating schedule (morning or afternoon);
• Availability in the evening, on Sundays and public holidays in case of events organized in the municipality;
• Place of exercise:
Local police office, frequent trips;
• Statutory remuneration + ISFE premium (fixed and variable part) + 13th month;
• Membership in the CNAS;
• Complementary social security: financial participation in the collective group contract of CDG
42 for the risk of life insurance and financial participation in the health risk on a labeled contract;
• Recruitment jury week 35 or 36.
Special Conditions of ExercisePositions open on the following grades of the Territorial Public Service:
Brigadier-chief principal, Guard-brigadier.
