The Morgan County Board of Commissioners is seeking a Building Inspector within the Planning and Development Department. The Building Inspector reviews construction plans and performs on-site inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable state and local building codes.
This role also enforces zoning ordinances, investigates code violations, and responds to citizen concerns and complaints. Starting compensation is $24.72 per hour ($51,422.15 annually), based on qualifications.
