Public Service Director
The Village of West Jefferson is accepting resumes and employment applications for the position of Public Service Director. This senior level Director will report directly to the mayor and is responsible for all Public Service Departments including Facilities, Parks & Recreation, Streets, Water and Wastewater facilities.
This position will interact with residents and local businesses to ensure service quality meets expectations and will establish a culture of safety. Working with developers to assist in the planning, engineering, design and tax incentives including CRA’s & TIF’s for commercial, industrial and residential developments.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of five years of progressively responsible Public Service experience. A bachelor’s degree in public administration, Engineering or related field is preferred. The salary for this position is $ to $ per year depending on qualifications and experience.
