To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, finance, economic development, planning, or related curriculum with two or more years of professional experience in economic development, community development or related field. An equivalent combination of education and professional experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may substitute for the required degree.

Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills and public presentation skills, knowledge of economic development and community development, planning and zoning, infrastructure, demographics and economic trends, knowledge of business and public administration, ability to implement City policies and procedures and ability to develop and present reports, policies, plans, and procedures for assigned topics.

The salary range is $91,634.96 - $. The city offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Open until filled, the first review of applicants will begin on September 4, 2026. The successful applicant will be required to pass a medical exam, including a drug and alcohol screen, and complete a background check before beginning employment.
