WMATA’s Metro Transit Police Department seeks an entry-level Public Safety Dispatcher I to manage emergency and non-emergency calls for the WMATA service area. The role operates in a 24/7 environment, coordinating with police, fire, and WMATA agencies to provide real-time information and ensure safety during incidents.
The position involves radio/telephone information flow, CJIS checks, CAD entry, and rapid dispatch of officers and EMS assets across MD, DC, or VA as needed.
