Location: Northern
The Constable is a sworn peace officer responsible for the service and execution of civil legal documents on behalf of the Magistrate Court. This role ensures that individuals are formally notified of court actions and that civil orders are carried out in accordance with State law and court directives.
Please note:
Constable authority is strictly limited to civil matters.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $15.39 - $20.15
Qualifications & Requirements:- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years or more of experience in forward facing customer service and/or public service fields
- Licensure: Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver's License and meet the requirements of the County's motor vehicle policy
